What do YOU want?

Yes, they do! But, what does that mean, really?

Especially when trying to meet funder expectations and goals, as well as customer interests and needs?

It means creating shared values and jointly defined visions. Asking: What's YOUR dream?

It means being willing to explore the "edges" in service, product or policy development. Asking: What's YOUR end goal?

It means starting with careful listening, thoughtful conversation, and ensuring ongoing cycles of honest feedback. It means devoting the time and energy needed to develop a deep understanding of each other's perspectives. It means being humble enough to learn from each other; and brave enough to admit when your wrong.

Like any other healthy one-on-one relationship, healthy community relationships are built on trust, respect and curiosity. On a deep belief that all voices matter.
